Content Freshness Audit: Find Stale Pages oversikt
Lists pages older than your own limit
Compares sitemap, page and server dates
Flags pages with no date at all
Review queue, ticks and CSV download
Content Freshness Audit reads your public pages the way a crawler does and shows which ones have not been updated for a long time.
It reads your sitemap, then each page, gently and in batches, and collects every date the page states: the sitemap date, hidden structured data and meta tags, time tags, dates written in the text (English, Spanish, German, French and Hindi month names, plus numeric formats) and the server's Last-Modified. You set the age limit in months (default 12).
You get three lists: pages older than your limit, pages whose dates disagree, and pages with no date at all. A review queue puts home and menu pages first (optional), then the oldest. Tick a page once reviewed; the date is kept in your site settings. Download as CSV.
No page cap, no watermark, no sign-up. Results stay in your browser tab only.
What it cannot do: tell when you really changed the words (it only sees dates your site states), run JavaScript, read dates like "3 days ago", or change your site. Freshness is housekeeping, not a promise of rankings or traffic. A date like 05/03/2026 can be read two ways; the app follows your setting or page language and says when it guesses.
