Most site search apps keep an index of your pages on their servers and sync it on a schedule. That is why new pages go missing, deleted ones keep showing, and owners ask support to reindex.
This one keeps no index anywhere. When a visitor clicks into the box, their own browser reads your published pages, from your own sitemap, and keeps the result for that one visit. Nothing about your site, and nothing anyone types, goes to us or anybody else. There is no sync, no reindex button, and no way for a result to be older than your site.
It also does not guess. Every word the visitor typed has to be on the page, so what comes back answers the question rather than sharing a theme with it. Your menu and footer are left out, so one word there cannot make every page a match. Matches are highlighted. Arrow keys move through results, Enter opens, Escape closes, and a screen reader is told the count.
What it does not do: it searches pages, and the text in them. Not store products, bookings or other app data. Not pages behind a members login. Not text that appears only after a click. No typo correction and no synonyms, by design.
